Critical Thinking is Biblical Thinking

Passage: Ephesians 4:14

God doesn't want us to be like "infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ."

As Christians we believe there is a knowable and objective truth. We also know that we have a supernatural enemy of our souls whose goal is to manipulate us, to deceive us, and ultimately to destroy us. God wants us to approach life with a Biblical World View, which is, I maintain, the only REAL world view; the True one. Christians ought not rush to judgments but are called to wait on the Lord, to inquire of Him, and to trust Him. The enemy tries to control us through fear, but Jesus through the Holy Spirit helps us to manage our emotions, to test the spirits (I John 4:1), and to hear from God. We are called to remain humble, realizing that all the facts may not have come to light, and that we may not know all there is to know.
